Rear wheel rollers

Does anyone know of a source to buy those metal strips with rollers in them we use to have to slide rear wheels in and out?

I would think you'd be able to find something suitable at a business that deals in materials handling equipment. They use rollers to move goods in factories and warehouses all the time.

Seems like a lot of trouble and expense for a relatively simple job, though. A little clever jack work will eliminate all the heavy lifting...

Jack the tractor up and rotate the tire so the wheel is "hanging" from the axle with the wedge/clamp on the bottom. Remove the wedge/clamp completely from the wheel casting. Gently lower the jack until the axle just comes free from the wheel. Lean the wheel in or out, depending on which way you're going, until the wheel is resting back on the axle. Jack the tractor back up, and the wheel will center itself back on the axle. Repeat as necessary until you hit the desired width.
