Super C C20 plow moldboard

I'm working on a Super C, C20 2 point 2-14 fast hitch plow. The mold board is broken, part # 515710R1 SCO. I hate to weld this one up. The other mold board part # is SC 515710R1. They look the same is there any difference?

Anybody have one or a know of a source for one?

its not that hard to weld moldboards.


I have successfully welded moldboards,its not that hard.I have plowed hundreds of acres with a welded moldboard.
 
With a 6-digit part number in the 515XXX range I am thinking that's a Plow Chief moldboard. Unfortunately, you've got a tough row to hoe to find a good replacement.
 
That is a 14 inch Plow Chief board. The numbers are the same so they are the same part. I have thought that SC stands for soft center so I don't know what the SCO stands for. Plow Chief is pretty common, should be able to find something new or used. Try your dealer or depotparts.com.
 
CIH dealer can get a new one for a whopping $267.00 Yikes!!
I have found a Super Chief 2 point plow that I can buy for parts. The guy that has it can't find any #'s but says it looks the same.
Are those the same moldboard?

If it is indeed Super Chief, no they are not the same. One thing to be aware of, there is a Plow Chief board with a replaceable shin. Same thing, just with a replaceable shin. I think he better come up with numbers to confirm what he has.
 
If the junk plow has 2 good Super Chief bottoms, you could move both bottoms onto your C20. Parts for Super Chief bottoms are easier to find.
