Picked up another H yesterday (w pics)

gots-to-go

A guy down the road called yesterday morning and asked me if I wanted to buy his Farmall H.

Went and took a look-see and after he said that he wanted $300.oo for it, I paid him and drove it home.

It has a old trip bucket manure loader on it, don't know what make, it is raised by cables.

Changed the rear end oil, engine oil & filter, adjusted the timing and carb.

I will need to find or make a packing nut for one of the hydraulic cylinders, it is broken it three peices and has a small leak.

We have a loader just like that one on an H, don't have a clue when it was made or who made it, but it does work OK for moving snow with a big bucket on it. My brother picked it up someplace, don't even remember where. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

That is a Horn loader. We had one on H on farm for 50 plus years. New Idea bought them out and then they became New Idea Horn if I am remembering correctly.

Found a old Meyers 6' Manual Angle Snow Plow Blade at the local scrapyard. Next weekend my son and I plan to remove the trip bucket and install the snow plow blade.

I live in MD.

The guy is going thru a nasty divorce.

He set the price not me.

I was just in the right place at the right time.
