I'd have to agree with Bob. I think that Dearborn were Ford products or at least they were used on Ford tractors. I'm sure someone here knows what it is for but try posting in the Ford section and see if someone has an answer for you. Good Luck.

i concur ford 8n/9n/2n model.

it's a conversion from small pto to the standard size 540. I believe there is a drawbar that is supposed to go with it. ask on one of the ford boards for the right info

My father had one for his Ford 8n converted 1 1/8"
to 1 3/8" PTO I think you will find it is quite
valuable if you put it on Ebay

It could be used with the 3pt drawbar (provided that the drawbar had the drawbar stays on it). We had one on our 860. We also had a 960 with a regular drawbar and we did not have an extension on that one.
