806 column leak

I have a faithful 806 diesel with a hydraulic leak right under the steering wheel. It just started with this last blast of cold weather here in Iowa.

Could someone tell me where that leak is likely from and how tough it will be to fix. Is there a seal in that area that I could pull the steering wheel and get to?

As always, really appreciate the help.

It's the steering shaft seal, mine on the 706 went out as soon as the temp dropped below freezing. Order part number 379782R92, $25 from Titan in Grundy Center if I recall correctly. You can find the parts drawing on the CIH parts site, and search this site for the advice Vet and others gave for my fix on 11/16/09. Pulling the steering wheel is the biggest problem.

I had the same thing happen to my 1206, was an oring or something, not too bad to fix. A steering wheel puller will come in handy.
