I have a super M farmall with good oil pressure but when I went and let it run for a hour or so it a mily oil was coming out of the blow by vent tube. Thanks for the help.

What are you wondering?

If you don"t use the tractor much it"s probably normal. Usually a milky tinge to the oil would indicate water contamination, which if it doesn"t get good and hot on a semi-regular basis it almost certainly will have. If you just let it run for an hour (rather than used it for an hour) you won"t even have got that engine to operating temperature. As the engine runs a certain amount of the combustion gases will leak past the rings, a portion of these gases is water vapour. If it"s cool outside the water vapour will condense and mix with the oil vapour coming out the blowby tube. This is most likely what you"re seeing. Sam

We need more info. It could be that condensation has built up in the crankcase, and is now exiting the vent tube. Not uncommon or wrong. BUTTTT, if there is coolant in the oil, it is going to require it to be repaired. Did you own it forever, has it sat unused for a long time, did it loose coolant? are all questions that need answers for accurate help. JimN

I have been around a lot of Ms for a lot of years and do not remember seeing one slobber out of vent tube. I would change oil and see what happens, if it clears up good if not not so good
