Farmall F-20 carbarator

Today it was 3 above 0. i started my 1936 farmall f-20 and it went from idol to full throtle and i didn't even touch the throttle. i went and tryed to slow it down then it went to idol and would not speed up. it took 15min to finally throttle normal. I think it had water in my carbarator and i wonder how i can get it from getting water in the carbarator. what can i do?????

the only thing that will let it go wide open is the butterfly, which is run by the governor, check gov and gov linkages too.

i think the butterfly got froze but i wonder how to get the condensation out of the carbarator????

The govenor is great for sticking when the weather gets cold. Sometimes had to heat it up to get to work correctly, (back when we used the tractor in the winter)

Cycle a can/bottle of HEAT through it. Put it in the tank and let it run awhile, that should clear up the moisture in the tank and carb float.
