Farmall M Heat Houser

Does anyone have a picture of a heat houser that will fit a M. Where could I find one? Thanks for any help with this.

I would make my own from a piece of old tarp. Pull the muffler and warm up the engine. lay the tarp over the hood, the exhaust will melt through. Make sure it is where you want it, you only get one shot at it.

Trim it down to where it will wrap around the tractor, and tie it off. At the platform, I tied it off to the light bar and then down to the axle outside the fenders. Seems to me I might have also run a piece of twine around just behind the gas cap. With the tarp making that upward angle to the light bar it kept a lot of headwind off my upper half, too.

Of course, you will need two more holes, one for gas and one for the air cleaner.

The H SH M SM SMTA are all the same the 300 400 are a little diffrent at steerig wheel. If you go to a full line dealer they are readly avalable new from HINSON FEMCO in McPHERSON KANSAS. good luck

Back before I discovered Yesterdays Tractors I was in clean up mode and threw a good IH one away along with several other things I should have kept, did not think anyone would ever want it. Never dreamed there was much interest in old tractor stuff.

Try this website --http://www.external_link.com/Heater_Cab_p/105796.htm Their telephone number is 1-877-530-4430. They have one for a M.

Thanks for all the information! There not as cheap as I hoped they would be. Does anyone know of one sitting in a barn that might be for sale?
