I-4 Seat Spring

The seat spring on my '46 I-4 is cracked through on the next to bottom coil. Where can I purchase one of these springs? I've tried several different IH restoration catalogs (O.E.M. and a few others that I can't remember off the top of my head) and they only have the H & M seat springs. I would weld it back together, but I know that the heat would soften the spring steel and it would just crack again.

I have a feeling that I'm going to have to torch that nut off of the spring too.

i remember that spring being mentioned a little while back, Some of the H seats use them to might have to call some tractor salvage places
 
correct, that is the same spring used on the stock h and m pipe style seats. call mike bunk at steel wheel ranch he will have it on hand.

Thanks Cue! That's definitely the one that I'm looking for. I'm sure the tractor will ride a little better now that I'll be sitting up higher.
