woo-hoo allis is loose!!!!!!!!

woo-hoo.....the allis b is finally loose!!!!! ben soaking this little stinker for couple weeks now, today she finally spun over. owner told me it ran good and didnt smoke.....he brought it here from the sandblaster for paint. shot the main body and i went to roll the motor over and it was stuck. he kinda forgot to tell me it was 5 years or more since it ran last. painted the hood,grill, fuel tank and fenders yesterday. new tires should be in tomorrow. hope to get this lil stinker done for him before christmas!!!!

glennster, that looks like some mighty fine work you"re doing! Yup, Allis orange can be discussed here as it takes RED and yellow to make orange. Andy, what orange did you use? Me gots a "55 wide front CA; second owner, that I"m wonderin" what ta do with.
 
al, this is napas crossfire single stage urethane. its persian orange color 3967 code 55a. seems like there are 4 different persian orange formulas in crossfire, this one seems the most popular. the main body was shot with a sata hvlp gun, but i ended up shooting the sheet metal with my trusty ole devilbis jga 504 gun. after i had the paint mixed and hardener added, i found out my painter had used MY hvlp and forgot to clean it. sooo i grabbed the old stand in. dang gun layed the paint down as good as the sata !!!! old school stil rocks!!!
