To paint or not to paint

I am restoring several WD9's to run this machine with at shows. Some guys say i should repaint make it look sharp. This machine is a 1952 complete original.. The machine was used for only 2 to 3 weeks in its entire life. Awsome condition. I think original would be worth more than repainted . What Do you guys think?

Here are a couple of photos I hope

Personally if her work clothes look that good I wouldn"t touch it but it"s whatever you prefer. I can"t imagine the hours and patience required to do it right.

There is no sharper than it is. That is a righteous machine with absolutely no need for paint. That is beautiful!! Jim

Thanks guys it will stay as is.
Good on ya! I love well painted, freshly restored show tractors. I'm building one myself. That being said, I would wash that piece of equipment, and take care of it... and that's it!

Great find!

In my opinion, painting that machine would depreciate it. There's too much of an untold story in something that well kept. Let it keep the secret.
Dave.
