Thanks for the picture but I don't think anybody doubted that your shifter was positioned as you described on your previous post.

An overall picture to see if the operator controls and seating position were conventional would have been helpful. If the picture also included an axle housing, we could tell you more about the tractor.

I can see a small portion of the battery box and what I presume is a smaller portion of the seat frame.

From what little I can see, you currently have 5 speeds in reverse and 1 speed forward. Multiply that by 2 if you have a working torque amplifier.

To get proper directional travel, the deck lid has to come off, the bull gears removed, brakes removed, the bull gear pinion with its retainer and cage removed. The differential has to be rotated 180 degrees and reinstalled with the correct number of shims. New shifting forks need to be obtained or modified. You are probably better off to just change out the whole rear frame from another tractor.

I am guessing the tractor doesn't run or you wouldn't be posting this question. To verify what I have just said, put the tractor in a forward gear, and hit the starter. Are you going forward or backwards?

It looks like the drop boxes are still in place for the final drives.

If those are geared drop boxes, they will re-reverse the direction of travel... So it will go forward in a forward gear. Depends on what the tractor had on it before, whether it went forwards or backwards.

I took another look at your picture.

You don't have a standard row crop axle housing but I can't tell exactly what you have. If there is a gear drive drop box bolted to the end of the axle, that will reverse the operation. Two reverse configurations (right side shifter and geared drop box) will give you 5 speeds forward. If the box is chain drive, that won't happen. The axle housing could also be a non adjustable W-400 housing or similar part. If that is the case, you will have five speeds in reverse.

the top deck you have here is made for a low drum cotton picker, when you reversed your gears you switched the shifter to the oppisite side,
