Manifold heat shield

I want to get a manifold heat shield for my H, but they are very hard to come by. The ones that pop up on Ebay are expensive, and I have bigger priorities for the tractor right now. I know some places manufacture parts for antique tractors, but I've never seen the heat shield made. Maybe I just haven't found it?

Does anyone know if any place, or any person, fabricates and sells manifold heat shields?

They can be expensive. I sold a perfect M heat
shield on eBay for $105 recently.

I have never seen a repro heat shield but I suspect
some one is thinking about making them. You can bet
they will be priced at over $100.

You don't need a perfect shield. The rusting
occures at the top and is not visible with the hood
in place.

Well, beggars can't be choosers. I'd just like to find one reasonably priced when I have the money for it.

There are not any being made but per the previous point, any new one will no doubt be more $$$ than the Ebay ones. It is a two piece weldment with one part being a stamping which requires expensive tooling to be made. I saw a perfect one on a trailer load of treasures in the flea market at the Rock River Thresheree in Wisconsin this past weekend. The mere fact that it was there tells me the guy was asking alot for it.
