Does anyone have a picture of a SA with a a-22 sickle mower installed on it that you could post. I am ready to mount one on my 1951 SA and a picture is worth a 1000 words to me. Thanks alot

I have a picture of a a-16 mounted on a SA.
May not help you because it is a manual lift.
I have it on "classifieds" on our IHC Chapter website. w w w dot fl27ihc.org. It will be about the same as a A-22 except for the extended lift shaft and link to the front touch control arm

The 22 is a front/side mount. Pictures of the rear mount 16 won't help much.

Make it easy for yourself and get the manual. It will explain more about mounting an adjusting than you will learn from a collection of pictures. Binder Books has the manual
1007452 No. 22, Cub-22, & L-22 McCormick International Mower Operator's Manual for Farmall Cub, Cub Lo-Boy, and Super A, A-1, 100, 130, and 140 tractors with either Fast-Hitch or regular drawbar, 1965, 22 pgs. $14.95

Listen to Jim. Most sickle mowers have at least one critical bearing in them that needs very frequent lubrication. Between the mounting instructions and the lubrication guide, the manual is the best deal you will get in the long run.

Jim: You make a good point, "get the manual". I can understand questions on which manul to buy, in the event the person doesn't know for sure which model he has. I can also understand a person asking for clarification on terminology in the manual.

Having a machine more than 3 months without a manual is a sin, and we shouldn't have to deal with sinners.

For the guy that doesn't know the difference between a rear mounted implement and a center mounted implement, he should refrain from answering questions.

Here you go, this is a model 22 sickle mower mounted on my Super A. This picture is very big so you should be able to tell how it all mounts. If you need any pictures of the back let me know, I currently don't have the mower mounted because I had the plow on it but I am going to mount the mower again ASAP.
