Double acting check valve location

This probly sounds like an incredibly dumb question but where would the double acting check valve for the auxillery hydraulics be located on an IH 966. I have spent probly a good 4 hrs trying to locate this sucker so any help or pictures would be greatly apprieciated. I have checked my manuals but they only show me how to disassemble it not where to find it. Thanks Jeff

On the 06 and 56 series the check valve is located on the back of the tractor. It is a block about 1-1/2 x 2-1/2 x 5" It is bolted to the steel tube manifold just before the quick couplers or hoses if you have break-aways.

It would be in plain view if it has them, however almost all we sold did not.
