The throw out bearing in my 450 gas Farmall is shot. I took the engine out and am trying to figure out how to get the bearing out. I disconnected the clutch peddle rod and the connecting rod for the TA. I need to know how to get the bracket off the shaft for the throw out bearing so I can replace it. Can some one help with this?

There are two bolts that clamp the release fork to the shaft. They are at a rearward angle and I think they come up from the bottom. They are a little bit awkward to get at. There are two thick spacers that the bolts hold in place. After the bolts and the spacers are removed, the shaft can be slide out the side of the housing. Only slide it out as far as you need it to be to release the fork. That way it sure be easier to reassembly.
