When you install a hydraulic bypass block on a Farmall C, does it disable the rocker arms. I would assume it does. I would like to be able to use both applications. If it disables rock shaft what does it use for relief valve Thanks for info Bernie Steffen

It does not disable the rocker arms. I have one for my 3 point on a C, the rocker arms work.

I think that the bypass is first in line before the rockshafts and relief valves; so you will need a hydraulic valve with a built in pressure relief. Don't set the relief much higher than the factory one, and definitely not higher than the pump is cabable of.

To add to what karl f said, the relief valve in your add on valve should be set to about 1000-1200 psi. that is all these old systems were designed for. To be strictly correct, the add on valve should be a "power beyond" type but if you don't try to use the aux valve and the rockshaft at the same time it will work fine.
