Hi, I just inquired a 1938 F-20 with electric start. I'm trying to figure out what manufacture of electric start I've got......The one's I've seen are Heisler units with the starter twards the rear of the engine with a specific bell housing and flywheel.....
This tractor has the starter located tward the front of the engine. There is a ring gear behind the crank pulley. It is obvious that is a "factory" setup rahter than a "farmer's creation" but have never seen this setup before......Any help identifying this is very appreciated!!!
Thanks again, Rob
