I pulled 12' of Vibra Shank with 560D, power wasn't a problem, but traction was. Bear in mind My 560 was cranking out 90 hp.

Depends on how deep you are gonna go. Are you gonna use if for final seed bed prep, or as a main tillage piece? I have a Ih 45 digger I bought last fall and if I put it in just a couple inches to pull weeds roots to the top and work up just the top 3-4" it doesnt pull hard at all. I have an Oliver 1750, with a slightly increased HP engine and tires full of fliud with duals. If I drop it down as deep as it wants to go it'll make the traftor hop along as it tries to pull it. I think you M will be having a hard time with it unless you stay shallow, real shallow.

I HAVE A 14 FOOT CULTIVATOR TO AND WE PULLED IT WITH AN M BUT WE HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE SIDE OF THE CUTIVATOR ONE FOOT ONE BOTHE SIDES WE HAVE CHLORIDE AND WHEEL WAGHTS IT PULLED OK ON DRY HEAVY GROUND BUT IF IT WAS LITTLE WET IT WOULD NOT PULL IT BUT I HAD FUN TRYING

If the soil is unbroken from the last crop, and you are using it as first pass tillage, no. even pretty shallow it will not have traction to pull it (lower gears will certainly rotate the tires, but W/O forward progress). Weight and duals will just tear up the tractor by overloading the rearend components. Someone on here said 8 to 10 hp per foot of tillage.
If you are on an opened field it will pull it shallow and pretty slow. 8ft is more in line with function and an M. I would trade it for the correct tool, or the tractor to pull it. Smaller tool is probably a better option. JimN

In worked ground, you could knock the tops off and level it out a little but no real tillage.

A 706D will handle it if you are not working too deep.

We generally pulled our with a 766 and duals to do any real tillage. And the faster you run it the better.

An M is OK to move it from one farm to the next, or to back it in the shed, that's about all.
