Farmall H manifold ?

Happy 2009! Is there any advantage or disadvantage if I put a distilate manifold on an H engine that had a regular gas one? As always thanks for any advice. Bernsy

It would be a dis-advantage. The gas manifold is much more efficient. If you have a distillate manifold in good, useable condition, sell it to someone who needs it for an authentic restoration. It should bring enough to buy a brand new gas manifold.

Happy New Year! I'd stick with the gas manifold on a gas engine.
