7T Grain Binder

Can you experts tell me anything about IH 7T P.T.O. driven grain binders. A good friend of mine has just bought one here in the UK and we would like some infomation on them, years made etc. MJ

Sir, I know nothing about this (or any other) binder. You might try contacting Sam Moore who has lots of information he shares on early day equipment at the horse/mule/oxen Rural Heritage magazine. I'm sure you can pretty easily find their website via a Google search. Good luck!

The German D-7LT and French F-7T tractor binders were made in the 1950s.

My F-7T tractor binder manual is dated 30-9-51, D-7LT tractor binder manual dated 12.55, the D-6LT tractor binder and a D-7L (ground drive) manuals are not dated. A D-7ST Tractor binder (Schnellbinder) is dated 1.58
