I have heard thay made a few bv farmalls is this true if so does anyone have pics and info of them I have located a bV said to be a real deal? just want to know befor i lay down the cash

Does that tractor look like it was built on an assy line dont even have same tires on the back and a messed up front. They never made such a thing but any good welding, repair or even a backyard mech could sure modify to their liking. You wont see any more like that anyplace.just like factory didnt put a wide front on a B but you and i couldfrom an A and this was done also they modified some for the Ginseing crop in Wisc.

If IH ever made a BV, it was a prototype or a test mule, and was scrapped.

What you are looking at is certainly a regular old B modified by one of the many companies that performed hi-crop conversions.

Is this the replacement for our monthly Super HTA threads? Haven't seen one of those in a while.

this b has 36 rears like a av has ih logo cast in them but date code matches rest of tractor has a 16 inch tall single i h front tire and ih wish bone 9.5 36 rear 550 front and this front pedastal is taller than a bn i have one of them plate has bv stampd in it but rest is hard to read best i can tell is a 45 has y code on castings? I realy not sure and just askd

Y is 1953, it is a dealer or home made hybrid. The BV stamp is a forgery, or perhaps the people who made it did them commercially and put their own plate on it. There are all sorts of modified tractors from that era.

well someone went to alot of trouble to make a fake we went over it last nite evry casting# date codes match as all IH parts right down to the extenshions to mount the drawbar. I will buy it just to have it is stuck and rough but what the hell. even if it is a fake its diffrant and all IH parts bolted on not welded together. Thanks guys

Every tractor you see in South Louisiana sugar cane country is high clearance and it is possible that there were some things offered there that never made it to Iowa. I have read article on F 20 sugar cane specials.

that is where it came from thay moved up this way some 25 years ago and brought all there farm stuff here

I went to the NO Saints vs. GB Packars Monday night. What an upset (for GB Fans)! Who DAT!?!... Just got home a few hours ago, watching the game again (Tivo is great).

Anyway I rode in to NO with some friends from Morgan City. I drove down 90 Monday morning and back up 90 this afternoon. They are cutting sugar cane like no tomorrow. Lots of high clear, mud bogging equipment down that way. Makes rice tractors look weak!

Sounds like you guys are from my area. I live in Avoyelles, but work Opelousas to Fourchon, Houston to Venice.

I'm restoring a 100, and my "big" tractor is a 200.

Looking for a set of choppers/disks for the 100, 5 to 5 1/2 ft wide, 16 blades or so, 2 pt fast hitch or 3 pt. I have a 6 ft 20 blade for the 200, and the 100 just doesn't pull it right.
