330U electronic ignition part number question

Hello,

i'm wanting to convert my 6v +ve ground to 12V -ve ground, with electronic ignition - but am stuck as to the part number to get.

The YT parts site http://www.ytmag.com/cgi-bin/store/...;md=330&cat=Electrical System&r=mcats lists a module " Pertronix Electronic Ignition Module Replaces Points and Condenser" part number 1442

I've been trawling over the pertronix catalog http://www.pertronix.com/catalogs/pdf/ptx/2007/ptx_2007.pdf and dont see that one listed in any of the similar IH tractors.

So, does anyone happen to know a suitable part number for the Pertronix electronic ignition replacement - i'm hesitant to buy from the YT parts site (have used them in the past, and they're great), primarily because if it's wrong i want to be able to take it back to the autoparts store and get a replacement.

Can you find a part number on your distributor?

from what i can get - i dont want to remove/turn the distrubtor at this point, but (scraping away paint):

the part number on the distributor housing looks to be:

353898R11

finally answered my own question:

http://www.pertronix.com/catalogs/pdf/ptx/2007/ptx07_additional_apps.pdf lists the distributor part number with the YT parts listed number - so i'm thinking it's correct.

Make sure that is what you want with regard to voltage (6 or 12) and ground (+ or -).
