200 Farmall Driveshaft

Just bought a 200 and when I asked if it had any leaks he said only a hydraulic fitting. Funny man! The front seal on the engine and the drive shaft both leak. I saw the pulley puller on this forum so will make one but first I need to split the tractor to fix the drive shaft leak. I'm looking at the parts book and it's not clear to me how to disconnect the drive shaft when I split it. Looks like two bolts need to be removed? The parts book looks like the bolts & nuts are in the front part of the drive shaft only - maybe the ends are in a bushing? Just not clear to me. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

They are a style of limited flex "U" joint. it will be obvious when you get there. They can take a bit of effort to get apart, but they do come apart. Follow the book, and you will be fine. There may be pictures in the archives. JimN
