Super C Ligth switch

Have a super c thats been changed to 12v, someone
put a differtn ligth switch in, i want to chnage it back to original style, will the original style work with 12 v, if so, where can i get one

I got a 12v switch at steiner tractor in lennon mi. Mine is for a cub I think they are the same.

No reason it shouldn't. It was a three-position switch that only ran the lights.

Don't know how the Steiner replacements are. I bought a four-position from them, and three tries to get it wired up the way they directed did not work. Had to do my own analysis of the switch to finally puzzle it out. Maybe they've got that straightened out since.

That and the three-position you need is a different and simpler beast. The wiring diagram I got with mine from Steiner's was cross-referenced to the original switch. Since you don't have that, you'll need to have the wiring diagram for your tractor at hand (from the Operator's Manual or Parts book) to sort out what goes where.
