Farmall M Value?

Can I please get a little feedback on the approximate worth of a Farmall M in good shape and running good? I am not certain of the year yet but will post as soon as I know, as well as photos. I have an opportunity to purchase one and was curious as to the rough value.

I would think any where from 1500 to 3000 depending on how good it looks and what shape the tires are in.

A decent regular M, without live hydraulics, without a remote valve, without an aftermarket 3-point - $1250 to $2,000 depending on tires and conditon of the sheet metal. mike

If the tin is all good and the tires are good, I'd say $1500-$2500.

Thank you for your feedback, I am waiting on pics from the guy, the price seems to jive with what you guys are saying, I will wait til I get pics and post them and then go try it out. Apparently it is still in workable condition, has a PTO not sure about Hydraulics, was painted a while back and has been kept shedded. Also forgot to ask if it is a RC or Wide Front. Thanks again.

I have a 40 M with live hydraulics and a wide front. How does this effect the value? Thanks

Last year I paid 1250 for an M with no hydros, decent sheet metal, ok tires, with a single tire front end on it. The guy also included a few parts and an old style wide front end.
