How much does it weigh?

Need to get an MD hauled about 100 miles. I have access to a deckover 10,000 pound bumper hitch flatbed, but don't know if it will be heavy enough or if I want that much on the bumper...

The tractor is an MD, F10 Farmhand loader with grapple head. I'm pretty sure the tires are not loaded, but it has 5 outside and 1 inside weight per side. The outsides are 140lb I think, adding 1400 pound for those, and don't know how much the inside weighs or what the F10 weighs (Allan? any idea?) If it was the bare tractor, I wouldn't think twice, but add almost another ton of weights, the loader...

You dident say the size of your truck....Don't put it on a bumper .....a 5,000# frame hitch OK , 3/4 ton or better yet a 1 ton dully......10,000# trailer OK........Don

The bare MD will weigh in at about 5400 lbs. With the weights and the loader, add another 2500 lbs or so for a total of about 8000 lbs. You don't say what kind of truck you have, but if it is a pickup, you will need an equalizer hitch for a 10,000 lb tagalong trailer. If you are talking about putting it on the bumper and not on a heavy duty hitch, no way is it adequate with a pickup. You will need a class IV hitch with the equalizer. If you have a one ton dually, you might get by without the equalizer. Also, when you say a 10,000 lb trailer, that usually includes the weight of the trailer and and a 10,000 lb rated deckover trailer will likely weigh in at more than 3000 lbs, so you will be over weight with the M on there.
