Hi all I need a question answered. I have a dt550 out of a old school bus with a in line injection pump is that the same pump as a tractor uses? thanks

It should be a Robert Bosch pump. Basically the same pump but the one for the bus will have fuel delivery to all eight injectors equally all the time. When used in the tractor they had fuel to just four cylinders until about 20 percent load. At 80 percent load and above all injectors should have equal fuel delivery. Between 20 and 80 percent load one set of four injectors will have more fuel delivered than the other set of four. Later pumps had the set of injectors that get full time fuel just opposite of the earlier pumps.

It is a Bosch pump it sits right bewteen the heads of the engine.
