HELP D239 engine. Complete rebuilt two years ago including a new crankshaft,rods checked (one was so bad had to replace) line boared cam brgs, P&S. ect. This summer it devoloped a noise. Tearing it down found that the Mains were bad, but the rod brgs were good. Had crank ground, mains to .010 US rod journals only needed to be polished. Now question is why did the mains burn out and not hurt the rod brgs.I always believed the mains got oil first and the the rods next. This one has me stumped!!! Going to start putting to geather this week and looking for ideas. Thanks. JLE
