White Farmall

I had a 1950 Farmall C that I had sold to a friend. I had it professionally repainted and it looked great. The friend insists that it had been originally white and is in the process of redoing it white. Does anyone know if they did make the Farmall C in white?

In early 1950, a handful of these tractors were delivered to dealers with a white paint scheme as special demonstration models.

Somewhat more than a handfull. Serial numbers 47010-54411. Jan, Feb, March production in 1950. Also white Cubs and Super A's. I have a "white" C that I painted red -- simply do not care for the appearance of a white Farmall.

The first 3 months of production in 1950 IH painted about 6000 cubs white for there mid century promotion the white cubs were used as demonstrators and after the dealer was done with them they were to be painted red and sold. The white cubs are sought after by the collectors.last one I saw on Ebay sold for @ $7000. I don't know much about the Cs

Yes, they did make some demonstrators in white paint. Finding one is a big deal to some folks and not to others. Whatever blows your skirt up...
