1950 Farmall H hydraulic belly pump, I need HELP!

Last winter the hydraulic pump on my H developed a major leak. I pulled the pump but hadn"t gotten around to replacing the output manifold gasket until yesterday. I thought everything went well on reassembly BUT...I can"t get the pump to pickup fluid. No output pressure, no matter what I do. I have bled the cylinder, pressurized the oil sump. And all I can get is a small flow of fluid out of the bleed hole on the cylinder. NO pressure at all.
I need help!
Thanks in advance

Yes, Allen. Everything appears normal except the shaft that actuates the pump feels like it's not doing anything. What I mean is it rotates 90 degrees but there's no resistance to acutation like there was when the pump was working properly.

If you didn't get that actuating shaft back on just right, it will only sort of actuate the pump a little bit, and then it will slip over the cogs and do nothing. Made that mistake myself once. Pulled the lever, raised the wagon to dump the load, and then couldn't get it to go back down. Luckily I had some wrenches with me.

like rusty said, when you put the pump back together with the cast resevoir housing, there is a catch and rod inside that need to be slid together, otherwise the pump wont work. you will need to remove the pump asem from the tractor, remove the pump from the housing, and watch carefully as you slide them back together. before you put the whole works back in the tractor, hook up the outside actuating rod to the side of the pump and operate it . you should feel the valving working.

Thank you gentlemen, I'd put money on the fact you're right. I'll bet I didn't line up the outside actuator with the inside. DURN!! I hate to have to man-handle that stinkin' thing out of there again. That's what you get for not knowing what you're a doin'!!!!
Thanks again!!!!!

Before you dig too deep, just remove the lever on the outside and make sure it is engaged to the cogs on the inside shaft.
