i found a older cub .When i took the hood off it was white under. And the fenders were white where they were mounted. But the bad thing was it didnt have a serial# tag.How can a person get one. HELP.And where can you get the white paint to redo it.Im new at this.

Not sure about the Cub, but the engine serial may match the chassis serial, if not it will be close. White Cub serials are thought to be 99536-106511, assembled in Jan, Feb, March of 1950. Look for casting codes on the major parts, in the form of 1*8*T, Jan 8, 1950. The * looks like a screw head, S was 1949, T 1950, months may vary from about Oct 1949--March 1950, most should be Dec 1949-March 1950, depending on when it was built. There are several sources for replacment tags -- try OEM tractor parts. BUT, lack of a serial tag is a red flag, kind of "undocuments" the white paint. I have a "white" C, with a replacement tag. But, I painted it red.
