Super W-4 is finally here!

Been searching for a W-4 for a few years now. Found some going through an estate sale a few weeks ago. I couldn't make it to the sale, and neither could my advisor. So we left word with the auctioneer(my advisor's nephew) to get us a W-4. I ended up with a Super W-4 #785, and picked it up this week. Pretty good shape, but has painted dirt all over. My question is , will most parts from the other 4 series tractors fit? I need to find the air pipe from the air cleaner to the carb( different carb than my H) and the hitch components need to be replaced. Thanks in advance, Kent in NB.

congrats - always wanted a super W-4
would look good with the Super H
Just to satisfy curiosity is the serial number thats stamped into the block below # 3 spark plug above 4000? would love to know what the number is. post a pic when you can, hope you enjoy your new tractor

Looks like #297. Not sure how the factory was doing this. Since this was the 284th machine, maybe that's how it was done. My 43 H has the same #'s on the engine as the serial tag. Or may be this was a replacement engine. Someone with more knowledge will have to tell us.

Here is the picture from over in tractor photos.

May be the correct engine, they didn"t match chassis and engine serial numbers in super W4 unless by chance. Same C164 engine numbers were used for SW4, SH and others.

Good looking little tractors that look like they have an attitude!!! Mine sets on shag carpet in the garage. I have a real understanding wife without a doubt.Actually it was her idea for us to revert to our shared early years on farms and get some old iron. W4

is it a C-164 block? the serial on the chassis won't match the serial on the motor. sweet lookin in the pic, thanks for posting it.
