Aftermarket PTO Lever?

Hello All!

So I got a chance to fire up one of the recent purchases (a 1945 H, all original) and hooked it up to my JD #5 mower for its first run of the year.

The mower worked pretty well for having sat out all winter (needs a few new sections, one bad hold down, and a new swathboard) However, since its a nice old mower, its still prone to plugging.

The M I used last year had been "customized" with a different PTO handle, which made it OK to engage and disengage. However, the H is still stock, and that handle is sort of a pain to turn that PTO on and off.

So does anyone know if there was a good aftermarket lever made that makes this more accessible?

Thanks for the info!

CB: Yes, M&W made one with a dog-leg off-set to it and the handle (large knob) was shifted over to the right side of the seat and further forward. Much easier to reach. By coincedence, there is one for sale on ebay right now... type in "farmall M" or "farmall H" and start scanning. You'll find it quicker if you select "Newly listed" to begin your search. Good luck, ol'Amigo.
