51 farmall C

I have a 1951 Farmall C that I restored I am getting ready to order a new serial number plate from OEM. The one on the tractor is badly worn. Fortunately I could read the serial number. However, what would the RPM have been it looks like 1875 would this be correct. Also, what would it have said for the model. any help appreciated

My manual has 1875 for the rpm's. Hal
PS: There's probably some letters for the model.
Someone else may give you those.

Model will be FC

As far as the rpms, mine is stamped very clearly 1815. Hal may be looking at the I&T manual, which does say 1875.

My Owner's Manual lists 1650 working rpm and 1815 no-load (which is the number on your serial plate. That's consistent with the A and B specs for the same block, where working rpm is 1400 and 1540 no-load. In both cases the no-load rpm is 110% of the working rating.

RPM is definitely 1815, it is in the operators manual. I hope OEM has improved their act on serial plates. 5-6 years ago they weren't very good.
