We have a 1946(?) Farmall Cub tractor with a Bush Hog (model# 912) belly mower. Does anyone have any idea where we can find parts for the mower? We are desperate! Thank you so much!

It sounds like Nat or Nut was mad at you for asking for some advise or help locating parts. His first paragraph was kind of blunt. There might be some people out there on YT who have NOS parts and think that they are worthless. But see your post and will try to help you. He was right about having to make or modify some stuff on it.

Gook Luck. James H

I have a Cub belly mower that I have been trying to sell for $50 and it is 90% there. I'm in Ky, tell me what part you want. I can email a pic also.

How about a Bush Hog dealer?

If you already checked there, and they say parts aren't available, then you have your answer already. Parts aren't available, period, end of discussion.

At that point, your only choices will be to scour the countryside, and Ebay, for the parts you need, fabricate them yourself, or have them fabricated. Some parts may be interchangeable from other mowers, depending on what you need.

There are just not any parts on an old belt drive mower that you can't get or substitute. It may mean drilling new holes to mount a bearing but there is no real need to buy by part number. Take off what you need and go to a farm supply store to get a close match.
