Value of a 1944 Farmall H?

I found a 44 Farmall H today and I was wondering what it might be worth. It runs pretty well, had the head rebuilt a few years back and a new clutch a couple of years ago. It is a distillate or duel fuel and some of those parts remain. The tin is fairly beaten about lots of dents and bends with a few small holes (drilled) but no cuts. The front tires are slightly cracked but serviceable and the rears are almost pristine apart from being about 50% worn. It's had a twelve volt conversion done on it. It has the swinging drawbar and the seat is no longer original also. I drove it and it seems pretty tight in all gears and will start from standing in fifth gear and it started up after sitting for a couple of weeks with almost no effort. It's been well used and slightly abused but has been well cared for overall. The old farmer who bought it in 1949 and has been using it frequently ever since and has decided to retire. What do you think she's worth? Thanks, SAm in NS.

Being that it has beat up tin, 50% rear tires, and not completely original, I would say that it isn't a cherry. But with the newly installed clutch and rebuilt head, it sounds like a pretty good tractor operational. Around my parts, one that runs with shot tires is around $500. One that runs with useable tires ussually will go from $700 and up. Getting a little hard to find one like you are talking about that is still complete and original. Some isolated cases where they bring considerable more, but ussually it is family members bidding against each other or there is a couple of nuts at the auction. My 2 cents from North East Kansas.

One thing to remember is that the Canadian$ is worth less (or is that worthless LOL) than the US, in the maritimes (I'm from NB) I'd say that that one would go $1000-1200. (less if your lucky)

Good luck SAm!!

Don't know what tractors bring in NS. Sounds like an $800 tractor to me.

Around here they fetch 700.00$ to 900.00$ in that condition, very good tractor to have around. Good luck

Well, that averages $800. We posted at the same time, and I did not see your post before mine.
