I AM TRYING TO FIND A REBUILD KIT FOR MY SUPER-A. IT IS A 51 MODEL AND THE SERIAL # IS 324469. ALL THE KITS I FIND DONT GO UP TO THAT NUMBER, THEY ALL STOP AT A 310000 NUMBER. I AM PRETTY SURE IT IS A C-113. IT DONT HAVE A WATER PUMP.CAN ANYONE HELP??

To be on the safe side remove a sleeve and piston then measure the bore and the measurements of the sleeve that way you can get what you need. Block could have been changed over the yrs and even a replacement block used. They didnt have serial# and when used were supposed to be restamped with original serial#. Thats why i would pull a sleeve and piston to be sure you get new ones you want. There are lots of kits and some get #s mixed in listing. You wouldnt be the first to get one that didnt fit.

Hugh can confirm this but after serial 310000, didn't IH start using the C123 block with extra-thick sleeves in it to bring it down to a C113?

If I'm remembering right, that means you could use the Super C rebuild kit and end up with a C123.

Gene, Sir, Correct me if I'm wrong on this ...Super As from the start up came with the 251696 block (113 cu in) and could be sleeved to 123 cu in.....Late Super As came with the 354898 block (123 cu )in...These can go to over 133 cu in....
Once You operate a Super A with 3 1/4 in. pistons ( over 133 cu in) it will be hard to go back to a 113 cu in engine...And the 251696 block is easy to machine for the 3 1/4 in pistons and sleeves to go to 133 cu in +
