i think so, but what do you all think ? i found this one with bald rear tires and in need of paint. runs and works well. has 3 point, straight hitch, wet lines. i looked in archives, but all i could find is somewhere between $2000-$6000. im guessing this one should go around 3500-4000. im i right for thinking this way? oh, its a gasser.

I have a 1971 656 diesel,wide front,3 point and brawbar hitch, 66 series couplers,less than 7000 hrs, no dings in sheet metal,fair tires. I wouldn't sell for less than 5000.

I bought mine for $5900 with a loader on it from a dealer. That is what they were asking. They installed a new seat, one new front tire, repaired the brakes, and delivered it to my place(100mi away). They still sold it for $5900.Thought I did all right. It isn't all beat up.All the sheetmetal is straight. Not any serious rust problems.Rims all good.TA good.Front end had all new tierods and ball joints. The wishbone socket is new.Has 9.5L-15's on front.Nice set up for loader.

It would depend on the condtion of engine, TA, tires etc. I have one that I,ve overhauled, new tires, painted and I can tell you I have considerably more than $5000 in it. Yes it is a cream puff but if $ 2000 on tires and paint will put your tractor in excellent condtion $5000. is not to much. They are a great tractor for most any thing. Small enough that they don't burn that much gas but large enough to do most work on a small or medium size farm.

I would think that your price range is more correct. We gave 3500 for a 460 a few years back, and that was way too much in my opinion, considering that our 400 will do more work and is worth less than 2000. So I think that you could get lower than 5 thousand.
