I can't seem to figure out how to check the transmission and rear end oil on my 1941 Farmall B. Could someone please tell me how to do that and how much oil should each hold?

I recommend you get a owners manual and service manual. They are a great help and are well worth the money.. Good luck!!

Level plug on left side of transmission housing just inconveniently located about 2" from front of case and about 1" from the bottom, behind the break linkage for the left side break.

Transmission takes about 5 quarts, I believe. The final drives take a couple quarts each, there is a plug about an inch or so above the bottom of the final drive casting. Fill to the bottom of that plug. If you are changing the final drive lube, you will need to remove the pan, as there is no drain plug. Use new gaskets if it's been awhile since you changed it, about 2 bucks each at your dealer.
