Made a trade for a Farmall C

Traded my 76 F750 Dump Truck for a Farmall C yesterday. The C has a newly rebuilt engine and a new clutch and new paint (dirty in the pics after bush hogging a 10 acre field and has been setting outside). I bought a newer and larger dump truck, an 85 GMC Brigadier tandem, so I put the Ford on Craig's List. The owner said the hydraulic pump seeps and could use a reseal.

The C has an aftermarket 3 point conversion as well. I was asking $1200 for the truck and the owner will deliver the tractor and haul the dump truck back. I don't really need it but I do need the truck gone.
How do Y'All think I did?

I like a C or better yet Super C but I couldn't deal with that spaghetti wiring job.

Tires look new I think it's a deal. loved my super c with aftermarket 3pt. Very handy mower a little
light on the front end though.

The deal for the C fell through. The transport cost for the dump truck was cost prohibitive so yesterday I sold it locally. The guy is supposed to bring cash today and drive it 5 miles home to his house.

Yep, nothing is sold until the cash changes hands. I think you would have done just fine with the trade with the truck. I had a fellow drive drive several hundred miles and change his mind on a tractor I had. I ask him if he thought I had misrepresented it in any way. He said, "Nope, just changed my mind." Go figure. Assuming the tractor runs good, I think $1,200 is a pretty decent price for a Farmall C with a three point on it. An aftermarket new three point from external link is $750.
