McCormick Deering tool box lid for a New Big 4 mowing machin

Gene, you'r looking for just the cover,is that a old tool box for a grain binder, with the oil can holder? I have seen a few in my travels, I would recommend putting a ad in the classified on this same web site, but is seriously doubt someone going to be to excited about taking the cover off, to sell separate ?

Nah fast Farmall it?s a lid for a New Big 4 mowing machine! The main part of the tool box is cast into the frame of the mower! The oil can holder is also cast into the frame.

That's a rare one in the photo above. You don't see many that have that little white-gloved hand painted on them. LOL.

That’s funny I don’t care who you are!

The New Big 4 was the heavy duty mower at that time and the New 4 was the standard mower. Had both in my colection that is now cone at one time. The New Big 4 was built from 1898 - 1915, the new 4 from 1896 - 1915. The No 6 followed 1914 - 1934, the Big 6 1915 - 1934. Quick look I did not find the part number but not likely it was pictured
