White, Demonstrator H???

Found this listing, just wondering what everyone thinks about it?

https://www.mecum.com/lots/GA0418-322710/1951-farmall-h-demonstrator/

They actually listed it as a one-owner, 1951 demonstrator H. Also, what use is the front mounted "hand clutch"? Looks home made to me, but what do y'all think?

Weren?t no demonstrator hs. Have a neighbor with an H with a white grill and hood sides he swears it is a demo.

The Demonstrator production run was a special "mid-century" promotional scheme that included only
Cub, Super A, and C models built during the first three months of 1950 at the Louisville factory.
So, if (a big if) this 1951 H was actually painted white at the factory it would have been done so
for some other special-order reason not tied to the demonstrator program.

May have been a 'demo' for one single private dealer. But there were no white demo Hs from corporate IH.

(quoted from post at 19:14:18 09/17/18) Weren?t no demonstrator hs. Have a neighbor with an H with a white grill and hood sides he swears it is a demo.

Many Farmall Hs were repainted to resemble the Farmall 350, and many Ms were repainted to resemble the Farmall 450. That does NOT make them demonstrators.

I think that IH would custom paint a tractor back then such as for a canning factory as I have seen around my area. This would have nothing to do with the demonstrator program. Perhaps this was a tractor owned by a canning factory or custom vegetable harvester.
