First of all thanks for the help and insight, I have passed it onto my son. I was at a tractor show this weekend and found him a manual and he was very excited! Here are a couple of pictures so far.
The first picture is of the mower he brought back to life, the second is the manual I found him and the third is the picture he sent me tonight of his raking job and the rake he revived. Most of this equipment had probably not been used in 25 plus years. I told him he has earned an A+ so far. Next challenge will be the baler.....he has been greasing, oiling and studying, pretty big accomplishment for a kid and something to be proud of. He was upset that he had broke the pitman stick when he was mowing. I told him to remember it was 25 years old and if he didnt break one once in a while he wasnt doing anything. He found a universal stick and make that work...again pretty proud of that kid. I told him to take lots of pictures baling and hope to share those later. He has Wednesday off of work and college so plans to bale then.
