F300 TA pressure plate fingers

My pressure plate fingers for the TA on my F300 got out of adjustment (not equal heights). Trying to adjust them without splitting the tractor. I am able to adjust them but the manual says 1-5/8" for the height. If I adjust them to that spec, they are below the height of the adjustment nuts. Is that right?

I believe you are OK with the adjustment as you noted. The K dimension is also important. The TA
throwout bearing adjustment and linkage function depend on these to a degree. Remember that the TA
clutch friction plate wears and that the finger adjustment is not usually needed. Uniformity and
being close to the spec are mandatory. Jim

Thanks. Yes the K measurement is correct.
