Super C rototiller

A lot will depend on the type of soil you have and how deep you till. You might get by with a 4 foot in light soil and shallow depths. I used a 5 foot behind my MF 65 diesel which is around 50 HP and it was all it wanted in clay soil. My 2 Cents worth.

Dave BN has the answer. Rototillers like .5 to maybe 1mph. Faster and they don't have time to blend, and the HP required goes way up from biting off too much. The tractor needs to run wide open to make PTO speed, and power. Jim

Ditto what Dave bn said. Don't even think about it. Too fast of ground speed, too little power for a good job of working the soil, etc. You need a tractor capable of less than 1 mph. Been there, done that for many years when I did lawn seeding and grading.
