Cub having Crazy attack

My Cub has been running great, Yesterday I cranked it and couple of minutes later it starting running poorly like it was starving for fuel. Well it has good fuel flow from the tank through the new fuel filter. I took the carb apart and bought a carb kit for it. I also soaked the carb in carb cleaner for 2 hours. After checking all the little port holes and blowing air through it I installed the kit and it is still starving for fuel. I took the carb off 4 more times to double and triple check. What can it be? .. Are there any hidden passages I may have missed? Tractor has a fresh tune-up.
 
A good check is to open the threaded plug on the bottom of the carb bowl and let fuel drain into something like a glass jar or a fuel can to visualize the flow. Inline filters are notorious for plugging unexpectedly. Also good to check is the filter screen just above the glass sediment bowl.

It is also possible something detrimental is going on with the ignition system.
