I need to do something for a replacement muffler and don't want to go straight stack. Any good after market product out there. Also, looking for a replacement cab but think I have one near to home to get. Also, I would like to retire the 37 disk and pull a 475 rock flex. Been checking Craigslist and hopefully the auction circuit will produce one.

Anymore I am quite sensitive to noise. Have you been in a tractor equipped with the muffler eliminator? How much difference did you perceive?

I once owned an 856 with the "year-round" cab. That cab was never really quiet. I removed the muffler and put on a straight stack, tall enough to extend above the cab. Noise level inside the cab changed very little, if at all.

I installed a muffler eliminator on a 1486 but it has a turbo so did not effect the cab hardly at all I did once take the muffler off a 966 wow could not stand the noise.
