Can Farmall 400 rims be put on a Farmall M ?

If it is a very early 400 it would still have deep drop center rims. Most 400's had double bevel rims. you could use hubs and all either way.

The drop center rims are bigger on the inside, therefore the cast iron hub got to be smaller, to make it all fit, like on a M, But when they came with double beveled rims, when the later 400 came out they where shorter on the inside, so the hub had to be bigger or taller, to fit, they were also 8 spokes, the M had 6 spokes !
