s/n location W-30

The serial number listing at the left on this site lists serial number location for McCormick-Deering W-30s as being on the left side of clutch or transmission housing. I thought they are located on the rear side of the front support of the gas tank like on 10-20, 15-30 and 22-36. Am I right or wrong? Been a long time since I looked in detail at a W-30.

My W-30 has it on the gas tank support where you can see it as you sit in the seat.

Tags usually aren't gone on those, gas tank support. If gone, the block will have it, I forget which side
but I think manifold side towards the front.

its not in the same position as 10-20,15-30,22-36. its under fuel tank in middle when sitting on tractor. the other models are located on the right side of fuel support at front of tank.
